Competition Etiquette

Participants must:

• Avoid obscene language or offensive remarks, including but not limited to references relating to race, religion, class, body image, gender, age or any other inappropriate or disrespectful content.

• Avoid identifying individuals, public entities, officials, public figures or places by name, nickname or otherwise.

Eligibility

• Participants must be 18 years or older.

• Participants must follow the NLCB social media page (Facebook or Instagram) on which they are entering.

• Employees of NLCB, Brightstar Lottery, Brightstar Lottery’s advertising agency and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

ONLINE COMPETITION

How to Enter

From 17–21 February 2026:

1. Look out for NLCB’s Chinese New Year promotion post on Facebook or Instagram.

2. Follow the NLCB social media page on which you are entering.

3. Comment under the official Chinese New Year greeting post.

4. Share a story or dream involving Play Whe mark Horse (19).

5. Ensure your profile remains public for the duration of the competition to allow winner verification.

• One entry per person or social media account.

Competition Schedule

• Entry period: 17 February 2026 at 8:00 a.m. to 21 February 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

• Duration: 5 days

Winner Selection Criteria

• A participant may win only once during the promotional period across both Facebook and Instagram combined.

• In the event of a tie, the comment with the highest combined number of likes and replies will be considered.

• Winners must claim their prize within 90 days of the announcement date.

• Winners must present one valid form of identification when collecting their prize.

• NLCB’s decision is final.

Online Competition Prizes

Total Prizes:

• 10 supermarket vouchers valued at $500 each

• 10 Play Whe merchandise hampers

Each winner receives:

• One (1) $500 supermarket voucher

• One (1) Play Whe merchandise hamper containing:

  • Large notepad

  • Hat

  • Keychain

  • Cooler bag

  • Water bottle

Claiming Online Prizes

• Winners will be notified via direct message.

• Winners must respond and submit a valid form of ID within 24 hours of notification.

• Eligibility will be confirmed based on:

  • Age verification (18+)

  • Compliance with competition rules

  • Submission within the stated period

  • Ranking within the top 10 highest number of likes

If a selected participant does not respond within 24 hours or is deemed ineligible, an alternate winner will be selected.

Once confirmed, winners will receive prize collection details via email.

RADIO COMPETITION

How to Enter

On 20–21 February 2026, call in during the sponsored radio segment and share your most entertaining Horse (19) dream or story.

• Two callers will be taken per segment.

• One winner will be selected per segment.

• The radio announcer will choose the winner.

Claiming Radio Prizes

• Winners will be announced live on air.

• The radio announcer will contact winners off-air to provide prize collection instructions.

Disqualification

• The use of bots or automated applications to generate likes or engagement will result in disqualification.

• NLCB reserves the right to disqualify any participant at its discretion.

• All decisions made by NLCB are final.

Publicity

Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for NLCB and its authorised contractors to use the winner’s name and likeness for promotional and advertising purposes without additional compensation.
