Game Rules

How to Play

  • There are two fields of numbers
    • The first field has 35 numbers; numbered 1 to 35
    • The second field has 10 numbers; numbered 1 to 10 called the Power Ball
  • Select five numbers from the first field of 35 numbers and one Power Ball number
  • Choose your own numbers or play a Quick Pick by using a playslip or requesting your numbers from the terminal operator
  • Each wager/bet costs $5.00
  • Play for 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 consecutive draws, including the current draw
    • If a player has participated in multiple draws and has a winning ticket, the ticket can be cashed and they will receive an exchange ticket for the next drawing(s) not yet conducted. This exchange ticket will have a new serial number containing the same wagered numbers.
  • Cancellation of game tickets is only allowed if authorized by the NLCB

Multiplier Add-on Feature

  • For an additional wager/bet of $5.00 players can select the Multiplier feature. Based on the Multiplier drawn, prizes for tiers two to six will be multiplied 3, 4, 5, 10 or 20 times.
  • Tier 7 (match 2 with the Power Ball) Multiplier prizes will be fixed at $10 regardless of the Multiplier drawn
  • The Multiplier will not be applicable to the tier one prize (jackpot)
  • The animated Multiplier draw will occur prior to the base game draw

Lottery Draws

  • The Lottery will draw six numbers; five numbers from the first field of 35 numbers and one Power Ball number
  • Draws will take place every Wednesday and Saturday (except religious holidays) at 8:30PM
Prizes

Jackpot prize

  • Win a minimum guaranteed jackpot of $2,000,000 if you match the five numbers in any order from the first field and the Power Ball drawn by the Lottery

 Subsidiary prizes without Multiplier

  • Win subsidiary prizes by matching subsets of numbers with or without the Power Ball
  • All subsidiary prizes (tiers 2 to 7) are fixed, however if there are more than 5 winners in tier 2, the total prize amount ($250,000) will be shared evenly amongst all tier 2 winners. If the tier 2 prize is smaller than the tier 3 prize, the minimum tier 2 prize per winner will be $3,000
  • The prizes for tiers 3 to 7 are fixed regardless of the number of winners

Tier 2 prize with Multiplier

  • There will be a maximum of 5 winners for all Multipliers (3X, 4X, 5X, 10X and 20X) in the tier 2 prize category (match 5 without the Power Ball). If there are more than 5 winners, the total prize value (Multiplier prize x 5 winners) will be divided equally among all winners.
  • If the Multiplier prize is less than or equal to the base prize, then Multiplier winners will win the base prize plus the Multiplier prize
  • All prizes over $1,000 are subject to the 10% Winnings Tax

Validation of winning tickets

Agents can cash winning tickets up to $12,000. If a ticket’s winnings exceed $12,000, players must cash their winning tickets at NLCB offices.

Players have up to 180 days after the draw to validate their tickets either at an agent or at NLCB offices.
