If you’re a winner, you have 180 days from the draw date to validate your winning ticket and claim your prize.

You can cash in your winning ticket at any authorised Lottery Centre.
Cash Prizes over $12,000.00
Winners must visit any of our NLCB offices to claim the prize.
You must present a valid photo ID.
Winners are required to complete special forms when collecting their prize.
Winnings Tax
A winnings tax of 10% will be applied to cash prizes over $1,000.00. The prize amount will be rounded to the nearest dollar.
Special Exemptions/Conditions
Winners of the SCRATCH BIG RIDE vehicle will not be required to pay a Winnings Tax.
Winners of the Win for Life first prize will receive their prize (after tax) every month for 20 years. Second prize winner/s will receive their prize (after tax) monthly over 2 years. If there are four (4) winners, they each receive the full prize payout. However, once there are five (5) or more winners, the total prize payout (after tax) is shared equally amongst them and paid in one installment.
